Model Structure and Scenario Building

This webinar shows how the E3-India model is structured and walks participants through building scenarios within the model. The model captures existing economy, energy, and environment (E3) linkages that allows researchers to assess energy and climate policy specifically at the state level in India. However, being a dynamic macro-econometric model, it can potentially be used for analysing a much wider range of policy issues.

Developed with transparency and ease of access in mind, the model is expected to vastly improve the ability of stakeholders to develop a shared understanding of various issues thereby creating space for consensus-building.
